Message:My mother Ellen Currane was born on 19 April 1913 at 128 to Mary and Patrick Currane. My mother had an older brother Joe, two more brothers William and Michael, and two sisters, Maura and Rose. They were all brought up at 128 with Pat and Tommy Kavanagh and their mother. All except Joe left for England before or just after the War. The farm at Clahane is still in the family and we visit five or six times a year. My mother married Michael Griffin, from The Mill Dingle, in England in 1943 but he was killed by a doodlebug in London in 1945. My mother, who spent up to six months a year at Clahane died, aged 90, in 2003. I married Ian in 1966 and we have two children and five grandchildren, all of whom are regular visitors to Dingle and Clahane.
Sorry we can't join you in October but we do hope you all have a great time.

Message:Hi
Like the website. I lived in one of the houses when I was a little girl. We lived just down from Christy Slattery we rented as we had just come back from England. I spent alot of my childhood either in the Slatterys or Molly Sheehy many fond memories. Those were the days. My parents names
